purpose
This policy outlines how The Water Affect manages toilet training & aquatic continence requirements to support both participant flexibility and the ongoing sustainability of services.
Policy Statement
To support hygiene, health, and safety standards within the hydrotherapy environment, participants who are not toilet trained, or who may be at risk of accidents while in the pool, are required to wear appropriate aquatic continence products during sessions with The Water Affect.

Standard disposable nappies that are not specifically designed for water use are not suitable for hydrotherapy or swimming environments and must not be worn in the pool.

Families and carers are responsible for supplying appropriate swim nappies or aquatic continence products intended for use within swimming pools and hydrotherapy facilities.

Where suitable aquatic continence products are not provided or worn, The Water Affect reserves the right to modify, postpone, or discontinue participation in the session in order to maintain facility hygiene, water quality, and the safety of all pool users.
