purpose
This policy outlines how The Water Affect manages the hydrotherapy pool requirements to support both participant flexibility and the ongoing sustainability of services.
Policy Statement
To support a safe, hygienic, and healthy aquatic environment for all participants, all individuals are required to shower immediately prior to entering the hydrotherapy pool.

Participants must not attend or enter the pool if they are experiencing illness, particularly symptoms relating to gastroenteritis, diarrhoea, vomiting, or other contagious conditions.

In accordance with NSW Health recommendations, participants who have experienced diarrhoea or gastro symptoms must not enter the pool for a minimum of two (2) weeks after symptoms have fully resolved.

To maintain health and safety standards, participants are also required to ensure that:
-
Appropriate swimwear is worn at all times
-
Any open cuts, wounds, or abrasions are fully covered with waterproof dressings prior to entering the pool

The Water Affect reserves the right to refuse pool entry where a participant presents with illness symptoms, open health risks, or any other factor that may compromise the safety, wellbeing, or hygiene of participants, families, or staff.
